From Challenges to Change: The Power of Community Action
Gather with Georgia’s Community Action network in Savannah, GA as we explore how our shared challenges become catalysts for real, lasting change. At the Hyatt Regency Savannah, board members, frontline staff, executive leaders, volunteers, partners, and community advocates will come together to learn, connect, and re-energize the work of fighting poverty and expanding opportunity across our state.
“From Challenges to Change: The Power of Community Action” will come to life through interactive workshops, skill-building sessions, and courageous conversations that highlight what’s working on the ground—and what’s needed next. Participants will dig into topics like resilient leadership, equitable service delivery, innovative partnerships, effective resource development, data-informed decision-making, and advocacy that moves policy and systems.
Whether you are new to Community Action or a seasoned practitioner, you will find practical tools, fresh ideas, and peer support you can take home and apply immediately. From hallway conversations overlooking the Savannah River to plenary sessions that showcase success stories from Georgia and beyond, this conference is designed to affirm the power of every role, every voice, and every agency in turning today’s challenges into community-driven change.
